日常にひそむさまざまなリズム。風景に隠れている微細。京都在住の音楽家にして打楽器奏者・北航平と、石巻在住の郷土芸能愛好家／音楽家／サウンドアーティスト四倉由公彦。パーカッション、ギター、アレイムビラ、アナログシンセ、篠笛、そして環境音。アフリカの楽器・ムビラを現代的に進化させコード演奏を可能にした不思議な楽器・アレイムビラと弦楽器、郷土芸能の息吹そのものである篠笛、そしてアナログシンセで日常のような、非日常のような不思議な風景を描き出す。テーマもコンセプトも保留した純粋なふたりのアンビエンスの共振の結晶を、シリーズとしてリリースします。その第一弾 Resonance #1。

Various rhythms lurk in the everyday. Subtleties hidden in the landscape. Kita Kouhei, a musician and percussionist based in Kyoto and Yotukura Yukiihiko, a folk performing arts enthusiast, musician, and sound artist based in Ishinomaki. Percussion, guitar, array mbira, analog synth, shinobue flute, and environmental sounds. Using Array Mbira: the mysterious Instrument evolving the African Mbira to enable chord playing, string instruments, the shinobue flute that is the very essence of folk performing arts, and analog synths, they paint a mysterious landscape that seems both ordinary and extraordinary. The first release, Resonance #1, is a series of works that combine the pure resonance of the two artists' ambience, without any themes or concepts.
